Brief:
Show how Netflix connects people around the globe with their original content.



 

A good story can speak to anyone, no matter their background. For decades, Netflix has connected the world with some of the greatest original stories. Exposing people from around the globe to brand new cultures and ideas.

In the campaign ‘The Net Plot’, Netflix gives their viewers the chance to share their favourite original stories, all from their memory. Showing which characters and stories truly stuck with them. Creating compelling short videos for everyone else to guess what plot or characters the interviewees are describing. Inviting them to either revisit or explore new original stories.

A stiff german describing ‘Tiger King’, a suited businessman explaining the latest drama from ‘Love is Blind’ or a posh mature woman chatting about the most violent death in ‘Squid Game’.

By showcasing people you at first wouldn’t think would enjoy your favourite shows, Netflix shows how the power of storytelling brings the world, and people together.

With over 3 billion streams and counting, “Golden” from Netflix’s most watched movie of all time KPop Demon Hunters has been on everyone’s mind all summer.

Even a retired hard rocker seem to have it stuck on his head – singing it for us, complete with some hard rock screeching on the high note. 🤘
